Mombrier July 6

Rain storms were predicted overnight, and yes, everything is wet this morning. We nixed the market in Blaye (pronounced Bli) for today. We do want to go there. There is supposed to be a great market and also a mall of some sort. I still hope to find a special crĂªpe turner and maybe a pan to use here and take home.

Anyway, we are up and I made a fritatta for our late breakfast/early lunch. We decided to start the fireplace. Paul assured us the damper was but we still got some smoke back up. Soon it was going good and we really are enjoying that. It is very cozy in our livingroom now.

The rest of the day was relaxing with cards, scrapbooking, listening to music. We haven't tried to even turn on the TV yet. It is supposed to warm up a little tomorrow and then in the 80's for several days after that. That will be welcomed! This is unusually cold weather for this time of year, per Paul and Fanny.
